Self Image

THINK DIFFERENTLY.
LIVE EXTRAORDINARILY

Your conscious mind can accept or reject ideas, but your subconscious mind takes everything as fact. From ages 0 to 8, we absorb beliefs that shape our entire lives. These beliefs become the blueprint for our successes and struggles, both professionally and personally.

By my twenties, my career was thriving, but my personal life lagged behind. I was caught in a loop: excelling at work but not progressing as rapidly in my personal life. Actually that’s putting it mildly – my personal life was a cycle of disasters. Why? Because my subconscious was programmed to excel in one area and not the other. I believed I was ‘clever’ and could achieve anything I wanted to in my academics and professional career, but I believed I wasn’t pretty enough to achieve the success I wanted in my personal life.

Your self-image is the context from which you view the world and what you feel you ‘deserve’ – this is an unconscious feeling of worthiness though remember – because consciously you know you deserve the best. But the conscious mind isn’t the part controlling your results.

Most people don’t realise how much their inner self-image controls their life outcomes—from relationships to career success and financial earnings. In fact it controls how much you will ever earn – regardless of how hard you work or how many qualifications you achieve.

Your self-image acts like a thermostat, keeping you stuck at a certain level unless you change it. No matter how capable or deserving you are on the outside, if your inner self-image isn’t aligned with that, you’ll never fully achieve your potential.

In fact you’ll be capped at a certain level for life if you stay as the person you now are.

Here’s the truth: You deserve to have everything you want, both personally and professionally, and you can change your self-image to make it happen.

But it could take years to do it yourself.

This is why mentorship is about condensing time – helping you achieve in a matter of weeks what you thought would take years (if ever) to achieve
