You have no control over anyone else – not what they do, what they think, what they say, how they behave – none of it.
The only thing you can control – is you.
Now bring this into the other concept I always talk about – that you only ever have two choices: you are either a victim or you are responsible for your own life.
You can see that when you get frustrated by what someone else does/says/the way they behave/what they don’t do etc – you’re being a victim. A victim of behaviours you don’t like.
Is that what you want to be?
Do you want to be a victim?
You ALWAYS have a choice.
A choice to engage with certain people, with certain behaviours, a choice to react, a choice to allow yourself to feel frustrated, annoyed, irritated.
When you lead your life from a place of being 100% responsible for your own life you are affected less by what other people do.
You stay in control of you.
And you detach emotionally from the things that the old you would have felt negatively about.
